My Background in Foreign Exchange

Foreign exchange has been a core part of my life for well over a decade.

As an active FX trader, I’ve spent years:

Following global currency movements
Understanding exchange rate pricing
Watching how banks and providers apply margins

That experience naturally carried over into real-world money transfers - where the difference between providers can often mean thousands of dollars on a single transaction.

These days, life is a little quieter.

My husband and I now live in Cambridge, New Zealand, after many years overseas.

When I’m not talking currencies, you’ll usually find my husband and I enjoying good food and wine, planning our next trip, or often all three on a Sunday evening at Alpino here in Cambridge.
